Sony Computer Entertainment has just announced a new title for PlayStation Vita called Escape Plan. The game's two heroes--Laarg and Lil--are as differently-sized as their names indicate. The brief footage shown at Sony's press conference at Gamescom 2011 reveals that Escape Plan is a 2D platformer with one simple rule: "Don't Die."

Presented in charming black and white, the game will contain numerous traps for the duo to circumvent, ranging from spikes, to grinding gears, to electrical currents. One brief clip even showed Lil inflate himself into a round floating ball, teasing that each character will likely have different abilities that will need to be used to navigate the game's abattoir world.
