Gotham City Impostors given price, vague date
Gotham City Imposters, the first-person multiplayer shooter from Monolith that pits Batmen versus Jokers, has been given a price and general release window.
When it was announced, Gotham City Impostors made more than a few gamers scratch their heads. "A Batman shooting game featuring multiple Batmen?" With developer Monolith at the helm, the unique competitive multiplayer FPS seems like an interesting proposition.
Though details on the game's release were scant, today Warner Bros. has revealed the game's price and general release window.
According to a report from IGN, the downloadable title Gotham City Impostors is slated for a winter 2012 launch. The article mentions a $15 price-tag for the Xbox 360 and PS3 version; however, neglects to mention the PC version at all.
Shacknews has contacted Warner Bros. to confirm the game is still expected to arrive on the PC and whether or not the pricing will be the same. (If the lack of a PC mention was an oversight, we anticipate the game will be priced similarly.)

The video reminds me of Bloody Good Time, where the way it looks is janky, but maybe the true joy of the game is found in the gameplay mechanics, for those who like it. But it just looks like class-based team deathmatch with perks. There's plenty of other players in that subgenre; the only thing that makes this unique is the Batman license.
