GoldenEye Reloaded domains registered

Activision has registered a number of domain names for an upcoming GoldenEye game.

It's unlikely Nintendo and Rare's classic GoldenEye will ever see a re-release, so might as well take the next best thing, right? That's what Activision is seemingly hoping, as it's registered a ton of domain names for GoldenEye Reloaded. Games sleuth superannuation discovered registrations for URLs like goldeneyereloadedgame.com and goldeneyereloaded007.com. Given the appearance of the 007 logo during PlayStation's E3 conference, we're inclined to think the title refers to an unannounced Move port of the original Wii game. However, Activision's propensity to release games on every platform could suggest that this could be a reworked game altogether--one that uses traditional controllers.

  LOL Why? Why not just make a game that's good and base it on a more modern bond movie? Maybe it's a remake? Doesn't RARE or something own the rights to it?

    Money. They did Bloodstone, didn't do well. GoldenEye Wii story I guess. GoldenEye Wii published by Activision, not developed by RARE but on Nintendo so maybe not a port. Seriously who likes the new Bond he hardly uses Gadgets and is so much more like Rambo!

        blood stone was a solid action game but too damn short. I wonder if this is what Raven is working on or not.

        It's similar. 3rd person AFAIK. I doubt it includes the big driving portions like Blood Stone though.

    The fact that GoldenEye has had so many spinoffs and sequels shows what would happen if the game industry ran the James Bond movie franchise.

      Well, it's not like the Bond franchise hasn't done this. There are a number of ones that are identical in story and/or structure. (e.g., Goldfinger and A View to a Kill; You Only Live Twice, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker) What bugs me about the latest films (90s+) is that it's basically become a homage to itself. It's kind of sad sometimes.

    It'd by far the best FPS on Wii, I enjoyed it more than Blood Stone. Also I should add I liked the game quite a bit as those previous statements weren't saying much.

    No way. It wasn't as good as the original, but it was actually good if you ask me. I was surprised because it was one of those games that I thought would suck. Actually, likewise, I thought Blood Stone was going to be good, but I ended up thinking... meh.

      Yeah, the Goldeneye remake ended up being the best Bond game to come out in a while.

    What? I thought it was great. Not the best game ever by any means, but calling it an abomination is dumb
