Apogee launches new online store, offers 'Legacy' pack
Apogee Software has launched a new online store, and is offering a "Legacy Pack" with two Duke Nukem titles, Rise of the Triad: Dark War, and two Blake Stone titles, all for $19.99.
Apogee Software has launched its new online store with some classic titles, and a timely coupon code, to boot. The "Legacy Pack" includes Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition, Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, Rise of the Triad: Dark War, Blake Stone: Planet Strike, and Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold, Extreme Rise of the Triad, and the Duke Nukem: Critical Mass soundtrack. The bundle will cost you $19.99, which isn't a bad deal.
If that's not enough to convince you, the store is running a promotion in honor of Father's Day. Using the coupon code "Father" by Monday, June 20, will get you $5 off, making the Legacy Pack a cool $14.99. As a warning, though, you probably shouldn't tell your dad to "come get some." It will be awkward, we can assure you.
"Apogee fostered young development teams creating a global audience through its digital distribution platform," said chief creative officer Terry Nagy in the announcement. "Apogee will continue its tradition by providing a platform for new developers to access a global market... our online store being the first step in this direction."
