Looks to me as if the editor rendered the whole timeline that had some extra clips (for placement in the main video or just cut footage) instead of rendering the finished workspace.

Yeah, this is kind of a new thing for the Shack right... never seen an actual.. shack produced video with transitions and music etc. Kind of cool. It's well done. My only complaint in a couple places was the blurry effect looking at some screens.. looks good for the video but is a bit frustrating when you really want to see what the game looks like (a bit more crisp).
