Spider-Man: Edge of Time E3 trailer swings in
The E3 trailer for Beenox's time-shifting Spider-game shows the present and future Spider-men uniting to prevent terrible tragedy, using the powerful persuasive technique of punching faces very hard.
The Amazing Spider-Man and his 2099 counterpart join forces in the E3 trailer for Spider-Man: Edge of Time, giving a pleasing peek at how Peter Paker and Miguel O'Hara intend to save each other's lives across time with strategic deployment of face-punches.
With a plot from Spider-veteran Peter David, Edge of Time promises "narratively-driven 'cause-and-effect' moments, uniquely utilizing 'picture-in-picture' moments where the actions of one Spider-Man have immediate effects on the other Spider-Man and his surroundings." Great power does come with great responsibility, after all.
Spider-Man: Edge of Time is headed to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS and 3DS this fall. Publisher Activision's go-to Spidey-men at Beenox are developing all versions except for the Nintendo DS one, which is handled by Other Ocean.
