Section 8: Prejudice 'Assault' mode unlocked
Section 8: Prejudice has seen a combined 10 million kills across the PC and Xbox 360, which has unlocked a special team-based "Assault Mode."
Section 8: Prejudice has just gotten a new game mode fueled by players' bloodlust. "Assault Mode" is a team-versus-team control point mode with a time limit. Developer TimeGate says it encourages cooperation between the classes to finish your objectives fast. The mode is now included and unlocked, so no DLC is required.
The Assault mode was set to unlock when the PC and Xbox 360 audiences scored a combined 10 million kills. The impressive feat happened in just over two weeks, so now current and new players alike can enjoy the fruits of their murderous labor.
TimeGate has also announced that it will be holding a Game With Devs session on the Xbox 360 this Sunday, May 15. It will last from 5 to 8 pm EST, and they promise more details coming soon.
A PlayStation 3 edition of the game is also planned for sometime this summer. It's unknown if the Assault Mode will already be unlocked, or if PS3 players will have to meet some new benchmark.

I own the 360 version and have enjoyed it so far. 16 vs 16 gameplay and if a person leaves a bot fills in. I believe Silent Wolf owns it as well.. haven't seen anyone else from the shack on Live so far.
It feels like Tribes with Brink style generic objectives thrown in (ie stop the convoy, protect a radar site, assassinate all the enemy players, etc). -

Still not sure why content is locked when they release games? I don't think there are many people that feel the need to play extra hard to unlock content they have no hopes of unlocking on their own. It's not like a MMO (that this was probably taken from) which has achievable and tangible goals on a single player basis.
I don't think people will buy the game because content is locked, just to unlock it either... what's the point?
On another note, Prejudice is far more consolized then the original Section 8, while not adding many more features besides a last stand mode that every game and it's mom is doing. I'm glad you guys are enjoying it though.
