L.A. Noire trailer dispenses merciless justice
Rockstar released a new trailer in preparation for next week's launch of L.A. Noire, this time casting a look at some action scene shootouts.
We've seen plenty of L.A. Noire trailers that show off the facial animations, dapper suits, fedoras, and angry mobsters calling for someone's death. But you know what we haven't seen much of? Good old-fashioned shootouts.
Rockstar corrects this oversight with a new "Official Launch Trailer" in preparation for the game's release next week. It's cinematic like the others, but features significantly more bullets. The crime thriller promises detailed investigations that won't always lead to breaking out your sidearm, but it's good to see some action regardless.
The Team Bondi detective saga is due next Tuesday, May 17, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Check out our preview for more details.

0:45, "I think I want him dead." Pretty sure that's the actor that plays Jimmy Barrett in Mad Men season 2. http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2009/03/jimmy_barrett_joins_the_dharma.html

Like the article, as you point out there does need to be a mix of both to spice it up, but I am most looking forward to the story arc / interrogations - seems like the more interesting piece of the game.
If anyone hasnt seen it yet check out this pre-launch game, just a little fun to hold us over till the launch
