At long last, Brink, the fine-looking new shooter from Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory dev Splash Damage, launches next week. As a huge ET fan, it's all a wee bit exciting for me. If you're dead inside, though, there are other games coming out which you might fancy instead, you monster.

With the free games for best buy/target employees ect. it seems like splash damage knows they have a winning product and is doing everything they can to make sure Brink gets off to a strong start. I don't normally recommend many games to friends before i've played them, but this one just looks to have it all going on.

I know it's a joke! Buying games off steam is kind of starting to lose it's appeal for Australian gamers (steam itself is amazing though and I only buy games on steam now). Fortunately, Brink is a steamworks game so I can buy it from anywhere and activate it on steam.
I bought it for $31AU from ozgameshop using a voucher code (which has now expired), but normally it's $38 which is still a great price!
