Moon Diver DLC now available
Square Enix has released the first of three downloadable content packs for Moon Diver, and detailed the other two that are yet to come.
The first of three scheduled pieces of downloadable content for Moon Diver is available now on the PlayStation Network. For 99 cents you can grab the new playable character Silence, and a Score Attack stage called "Flow." Experience earned in the Score Attack mode still goes toward your character in Story mode.
Square Enix also detailed upcoming bits of DLC. The second pack will add two more Score Attack stages ("Orbit" and "Rage") on April 26, for 99 cents. The third pack's date is to-be-determined, but it will be free. It introduces a Chain Kill mode, in which you take down multiple enemies before your HP runs out. It also promises a "brand new world" if you manage to conquer the mode.
Moon Diver is regarded as a spiritual successor to the arcade classic Strider, as it features slicing and dicing in a side-scrolling action format. It costs $14.99.
