Super Street Fighter 4 on PC hinted by Capcom
An official announcement of Super Street Fighter 4 on PC could be coming tomorrow morning, according to a fairly blatant hint from producer Yoshinori Ono.
The long-standing rumor of a Super Street Fighter 4 release on the PC got ignited again over the weekend, from none other than producer Yoshinori Ono. Responding to a fan asking about a PC port, Ono tweeted, "I cant twit about it topic... Plz wait until 12 Apr. 8 am PST. ;) RT" (via Blue's News).
The ESRB also lists Windows PC in the platforms for the game.
The tweet seems to indicate an impending announcement tomorrow morning, so the mystery should be solved soon enough. Capcom may also choose to pair the rumored PC reveal with the official announcement of the Arcade Edition, which was all-but-confirmed last week with a leaked trailer. The Arcade Edition would add four new fighters and balance tweaks.

there'd want to be some serious discount on this for people who already own sf4 on pc...it's some new characters, balance tweeks and animations, not a new game. but knowing capcom it'll be full price and they'll do absolutely nothing in the way of giving people who bought the first game a discount or some extra content and then they'll wonder why people will pirate the game...fuck you capcon, seriously, fuck you.

Super was discounted on the consoles ($40 vs $60 for SF4) when it came out. And the PC version of SF4 was discounted as well at $40. I can see this one being even less, but even if it's $40 it's still a damn good deal and I've bought the game 3 times now, SF4 on PS3 & PC and SSF4 on PS3. Don't be a whiny bitch, there's more than enough there to justify the cost.

I never had any problems finding matches, but like on the console it's much easier when you host rather than search. 1v1 matchups go quick so by the time you the list, most of them are full.
Anyway SSF4 has a lobby system so it'll be a lot better for those that don't know better. As for piracy, they could charge $20 and people would still come up with excuses to steal it. Capcom can't win, but I'm grateful they are even doing it at all as I loved the PC version so much more.
I got SF4 for $35 via Steam pre-order, this game isn't going to be $50.
