Red Dead Redemption pre-order DLC sold separately this week
RDR's pre-order bonus items are to be sold separately, while Rockstar notes L.A. Noire's bonuses will be available "much, much sooner."
The Red Dead Redemption in-game items that were offered as pre-order bonuses will be released separately as downloadable content, Rockstar has announced announced.
The fame-increasing Golden Guns Weapon Pack, Dead Eye-boosting Deadly Assassin Outfit and super equine The War Horse will be released on Tuesday, priced at 99¢ (80 Microsoft Points) apiece.
Rockstar apologises that it took so long to release the items separately, explaining that "there were some unanticipated technical delays."
The company also notes that L.A. Noire's pre-order bonuses, which range from items to whole new cases, will become available "much, much sooner."

I'd still like to see the breakdown of the sales of the three platforms that GTA IV was released on. the 3/11/2011 announcement that GTA IV sales have exceeded 20 million copies is great to hear, but there isn't shit for information on the PC version's numbers since 2008 (who's only numbers were reported at retailed by NPD, which has been proven to be completely useless).
I'm perfectly content to not play RDR, sure I'm missing out on a great game, but I'm voting with my wallet.-
GTA IVs sales numbers on pc wouldn't really matter since I suspect it hasn't been moving much at retail and I'm sure an overwhelming majority of the copies sold were both via digital distribution and at a vastly reduced price (~75% off retail or more).
Plus, if a port of RDR ever magically happened, it wouldn't matter. The "pc port?" subthreads would be replaced with people bitching about GFWL and the R* social club or the lack of AA support in the engine. You know, typical "this port sucks!" threads.-

This. I really enjoyed GTA IV on the PC, and would rather play a PC port of RDR.
I haven't bought RDR yet as I am waiting for new on if they will do a PC port. So I'm stuck in a limbo waiting for a definitive answer as to if there will be a PC port.
If not I'll go get a console version; else I will wait for the PC port.
