Crysis 2 PS3 demo pulled to fix bugs
Though the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo has only been available on PS3 since Tuesday, it's already being pulled due to connection bugs.
Though the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo only hit the PlayStation 3 on Tuesday, publisher EA has announced that it's being pulled due to connection bugs.
"Though many gamers have had a great experience playing the demo, we are aware that others have been experiencing server connection delays," EA said yesterday. "We've identified the root cause and have decided to close the PS3 demo in the next 24 hours to ensure all issues are resolved when the game launches next week. Our priority is to ensure that the final product is flawless at launch."
The first, Xbox 360-exclusive Crysis 2 multiplayer demo also suffered connection issues when it launched in January.
Crytek's super-suited shooter sequel is due to be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 22.

I was playing the 3D version at GDC and I was blown away. The first game to make me think that 3D may not just be a gimmick. You have to get this game.
The networking on the PC is solid, was able to find servers quickly and there was no lag.
I'm glad to see they focused so much on multiplayer this time, so the game will be a blast to play for months and years after the single player is over.
I hope they add some maps though, maybe in a DLC.
