The wheels of progress turn slowly but surely and while Release List might look a bit barebones for now, rest assured that this will have no effect upon the actual games being released next week. We'll be bouncing along merrily, better than ever, as soon as possible. As the saying goes, "there'll always be video games."

Can we verify the B&GE HD release?
I just checked as I saw this yesterday, but the Xbox Live promo blade says March 9 (with Torchlight and Poker also a week later than planned) I know all the news stories I just checked say the 2nd (back when this was announced), so I don't know if plans changed or a console monkey screwed up on the screens.-
Microsoft announced the schedule for the "House Party" promo a while back. Here's the link to our coverage: http://www.shacknews.com/article/67439/xbla-house-party-games-priced

See, when people talk shit about the Wii it's clear they haven't taken a look at some of their AAA/GOTY titles like "Chuck-e-Cheese's Sports Games."
Don't even fucking talk about the Wii if you have played this game, because you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. This is a serious platform with serious games. -

Can someone give their impression of Beyond Good and Evil? Why so much hype over this game?
I am contemplating buying it but I am unsure why I would want to (if that makes sense).
I havent played the PC version when it came out way back when (2006?).
Why would I want to buy this now? Please advise. Thanks-
It has the best first fifteen minutes in gaming history, followed by the worst fifteen minutes of gaming (but still great character and world development), followed by one of the most endearing storylines ever coupled with tight gameplay, responsive controls, and one of the most well thought-out worlds ever.
