New Crysis 2 Xbox 360 MP demo incoming
PC gamers aren't the only ones getting a Crysis 2 multiplayer demo on March 1; the new demo's also due on Xbox 360 that fateful Tuesday.
If you missed the brief period when the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo was available on Xbox 360, or simply fancy having another go, you'll be glad to hear that the console's receiving another demo.
The new Xbox 360 demo will arrive alongside the PC demo on March 1, developer Crytek and publisher EA announced today. The pair also revealed that the PlayStation 3 demo confirmed yesterday is "coming soon," but declined to give a release date.
All three versions of the new multiplayer demo will contain two maps, 'Skyline' and 'Pier 17,' and two modes, 'Team Instant Action' and 'Crash Site.' Skyline was the map in the original Xbox 360 demo.
That original Xbox 360 demo, by the way, was downloaded 1.7 million times during the ten days it was available from January 25, according to today's press release. It also notes that "Since then, Crytek has taken player feedback to help improve the experience even more." The demo was slightly troubled when it launched, with players reporting issues including connectivity problems and outright freezing.
Crysis 2 is scheduled to launch for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 22.

I bought CoD:Black Ops specifically because I didn't want to be that guy. It ran like ass and sucked on the PC so I regret it and look forward to Crysis 2 as my vanilla shooter (I know it has the suit so it's not totally vanilla, but I mean compared to games like Left 4 Dead 2 where you aren't shooting at people who are shooting back at you with similar stuff).
