The PlayStation 3 will be getting its own Crysis 2 multiplayer demo after all. The confirmation comes from a new teaser video, the end of which declares: "PlayStation 3 multiplayer demo coming soon."

It seemed for a while as if the PS3 would be the one platform without a sample of Crysis 2's multiplayer offerings. The Xbox 360 has had its demo for weeks and the PC version is coming on March 1. Those demos included the same maps and modes, so the PS3 version will probably be similar as well -- hopefully minus the bugs.

A date wasn't mentioned for the PS3 demo, but it can't be too much longer. The game is set to launch on March 22 in North America, leaving a scant few Tuesdays for the demo to go up on the PlayStation Network before the full game hits.

  I'm on the fence about this. Really liked Crysis but... I hated when the Matrix things showed up.

    i loved crysis and feel it was under-appreciated. the aliens were a change a pace but it kept the game from being stale.

      It just felt to me the same thing they did with Far Cry. Which bothered me.

    It's looking like they made the aliens more human, so you could probably have the same sort of action you had with the Korean sections in Crysis 2.
