Today is a very special day, as Shacknews’ Head of Video Production Greg Burke will be presenting a special unboxing livestream of the relatively new Magic the Gathering collections. This stream will feature the Murders at Karlov Manor and Ravnica Rematered. You can tune in to the unboxing using the embedded Twitch video below!

The Magic the Gathering unboxing livestream is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday, March 15, 2024 over on the Shacknews Twitch channel. While there’s not a hard time limit on the stream, you can anticipate that it will last at least an hour, maybe even a couple, as unboxing and opening packs of cards can be quite an in-depth process! As for where this stream will take place, Greg is actually heading to his local gaming store, the Sword & Board!

The Magic the Gathering Murders at Karlov Manor launched back in February of this year while the Ravnica Remastered collection was in January. The Murders at Karlov Manor looks to be a murder mystery style of cards, where players actually investigate suspects, find the murder weapon, and work out who to point at and yell, “J’Accuse..!” Ravnica Rematered, on the other hand, is precisely as the name suggests: an opportunity to revisit familiar locations and characters through a reprint, with some slight differences.

Make sure you pop into the stream and say hello as Greg opens up some packs and works out what should be filtered into his deck. Maybe he’ll even have a crack at solving the murder! You never know. While you’re watching the stream, take a moment to subscribe to the channel using your free monthly sub (you can get it by linking Twitch to Amazon Prime). As the name suggests, it’s free, and it goes a long way to help us!
