Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon coming in 2023

The eagerly anticipated next entry in the Armored Core series has been announced at The Game Awards 2022.

The wait is finally over. Armored Core returns thanks to the efforts of FromSoftware. Armored Core 6 Fire of Rubicon was announced at The Game Awards 2022 with a tremendous trailer. Take a look at it below!

The trailer for Armored Core 6 Fire of Rubicon paints a picture of a brutal, post-apocalyptic world where battles rage as giant mecha fight one another. According to the YouTube description, this sixth entry in the series will let players pilot their own mecha, with seemingly some level of customization. It also notes challenging situations and overwhelming enemies.

For those who may have only just joined the fold of FromSoftware games with Elden Ring, Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon will no doubt be a great opportunity to venture into the series. The last time players got an Armored Core game was back in 2013, so there’s likely plenty of new players about to enter the fray.

Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon is scheduled to release sometime in 2023 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Take a look at our Game Awards 2022 page for more announcements and the latest news from the end of year show.
