Do you like snowboarding? Do you miss the days where developers would create snowboarding games that totally rocked? Then does Xbox have a game for you. Shredders, announced during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase at E3 2021, is a brand new entry in the extreme sports category. Get your board ready and then take a look at the following trailer.

Shredders is being developed by Foam Punch, I-Illusions, and Let it Roll. The game looks to give a nod to its roots, the Amped series from the original Xbox. The official Xbox blog confirms this while also providing more information on what players can expect.

Break into the snowboarding event of the year to pull off one of the most insane tricks imaginable, all for the hope of scoring a wildcard entry to an exclusive invitational. Master the art of park riding, buttering, rails and massive kickers and earn your place in the world of snowboarding. A love letter to snowboarding, Shredders takes inspiration from snowboarding movies, the Amped games from the original Xbox, and the snowboarding heroes on social media. Shredders is a project fed by passion and built to shine on Xbox Series X|S, and will be available day one with Xbox Game Pass.

Let’s also take a moment to appreciate that sick soundtrack from the trailer. Here’s hoping the rest of the tunes match that level of chill. Shredders is scheduled to hit Xbox in December 2021. The game will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass – that service just keeps getting better. Take a moment to look over the Shacknews Xbox & Bethesda tag to find anything you might have missed from the show.
