Good afternoon, readers and/or viewers. As we slide through another Monday, the time comes to reflect on the previous week and weekend of competitive gaming for a live Twitch show we like to call the Wide World of Electronic Sports. Each episode, hosts Bryan Lefler, Phil “EE” Visu, and Rodney Conyers Jr. join forces to smarten up you, the viewer, about all things esports. You can also reliably count on some off-topic food chat.

In today’s episode, the crew tackles some fresh Street Fighter V action, the latest on the Smash World Tour, BTS’ Smash Sauna, Spotify’s entry into the esports podcast arena, and why some of the best food on earth can be found in Hawaii. Bryan will be hosting today’s show on location from the southernmost state in the union.

The show begins at 6:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. PT) on the Official Shacknews Twitch Channel. Make sure you don’t miss a second!

I missed ALL the seconds. Dammit. Oh well, that's why there are VODs.

A big chunk of the excitement for the Redbull Kumite was LIVE OFFLINE. Also Rodney's mention of "the next generation of players" made me realize that is actually becoming super true. Tokido, Bonchan, and Problem X were there. That's like IT for the old school. Everyone else was a relative newcomer. No JWong, no Snake Eyez, no Daigo, etc. Damn! I guess Smug is an old head now!
