Evil West revealed at The Game Awards

Take on the role of a weapon-wielding cowboy fighting horrific monsters in Evil West.

There’s something about cowboys that goes well with just about everything. Evil West, a brand new game developed by Flying Wild Hog, takes the beloved cowboy format and throws in a whole bunch of monsters and ghouls. Take a gander at the trailer below!

Players were first introduced to the Wild West world of Evil West during The Game Awards 2020 on December 10. This brand new IP by Flying Wild Hog looks to tap into that Van Helsing type of experience, with players hunting fantastical beasts with all kinds of weaponry.

The trailer gives players a little insight into what kind of combat they can expect. The cowboy appears to wield an iconic lever-action rifle, some kind of super punching device attached to his arm, and some magical abilities as well. Not much else is known about what’s involved, but there are certainly a lot of horrific monsters that will need dispatching.

Evil West is scheduled to release sometime in 2021 across current and previous-generation consoles as well as PC. Judging by the trailer, it looks like Nintendo Switch players might be missing out.
