Absence makes the heart grow fonder, they say. But in the case of the Shacknews Dump, absence just means the flow has been clogged and we can’t hold back any longer. We’re back and coming at you live with a whole new slate of video game topics in this weekly ShackStream of the hottest gaming news.

On this August 7 edition of the Shacknews Dump, Rocksteady has caught the community by surprise with the sudden announcement that a new Suicide Squad game reveal could be coming at the end of August. And hey, what about Bugsnax? Ya wanna talk about Bugsnax? We do because it appeared on the PlayStation State of Play. If that wasn’t enough, Nintendo has been among the many to release its quarterly financial reports, but more importantly, the Nintendo Switch consoles and Animal Crossing: New Horizons have put forth multi-millions of sales, crossing massive milestones separately.
