New Sonic the Hedgehog movie character redesign leaked
If this really is the new Sonic redesign, he looks a lot better than the previous Sonic.
Remember how the CG Sonic the Hedgehog was getting a redesign? It looks like a couple of leaked images may have given us a look at what he could look like going forward.
Because no one can be patient anymore and must immediately run to the internet any time they have information, Twitter user @BestInTheGalaxy's tweet has been making the rounds. Featuring two different images of Sonic, it shows off presumably the newest design for the hedgehog, which ended up going viral online. It's unclear whether these images are real or not or where they came from. But they certainly make Sonic look a whole lot better than the gangly, muscular freak show he was before.

When the full trailer for the live-action and CG hybrid Sonic the Hedgehog movie first debuted, nearly no one liked the trailer. It was such a travesty and a viral meme irector Jeff Fowler took to Twitter to pledge to fans that he will be changing things up to "fix them," because this travesty absolutely needs fixed. He thanked fans for their support and criticism, but we have it on good authority he probably received a lot more criticism than support.
The new version of Sonic is no longer being shown in November, and instead has been pushed back to February 14, 2020 – a solid pick for Valentine's Day, we'd say, but what will the hedgehog look like now? We'll have to wait and see. We're not mad at this new look, though. Not too mad at all!
