The mission isn't over for The Division 2 just yet. Ubisoft's ongoing open world shooter is continuing to add new content on a regular basis and is now set to release what the publisher is claiming to be the biggest title update so far. This big update will be headlined by the campaign's latest bundle of missions, Episode 2 - Pentagon: The Last Castle.

In Pentagon: The Last Castle, the second of three story-based episodes, the U.S. Pentagon is under attack by hostile Black Tusk forces. With time of the essence, the agents of The Division must rush in, guns blazing, in order to stop this assault on the United States military's main headquarters. The first main mission is Pentagon, which will have players look to secure the perfusion bioreactor inside the Pentagon's underground research facility. Mission two is DARPA Research Labs, where the agents must intercept Black Tusk forces looking to escape with the perfusion bioreactor through a series of tunnels.

The Division 2 - Episode 2

While the episodic content is available for Year 1 pass holders and UPlay+ subscribers, the title update's overall changes, improvements, and bug fixes will be available to all players. More information on specific changes can be found on the Division website.

On top of that, all players will find a whole new PvP game mode called Conflict. This will see two teams of four battle it out for survival in the heart of Washington D.C. It's a best-of-seven session, where rounds are won by the surviving team. PvP users can also look forward to a new map called The Wharf, where players do battle along an abandoned fishing harbor.

If you're looking to get a taste of what The Division 2 is about or take a first look at that new PvP mode, Ubisoft is ready to offer up a free weekend soon. The Division 2's free weekend is set to run from October 17-20 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Any progress made during that period can be transferred to the full game, as noted on the Division website.

The Division 2's Title Update 6 is set to release on October 15.

But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
