Fallout Legacy Collection is real, only coming to two countries

The Fallout Legacy Collection is real, and Bethesda has asked fans to "stand by" for preorder in the United Kingdom.

Fallout fans rejoice. Fallout Legacy Collection, a collection of all the Fallout titles for PC, will soon be available to preorder in the United Kingdom. The collection is also set for an October 25 release date, which means you won’t need to wait long to pick it up for good. The only real caveat here, though, is that the collection will only be available in two countries, not worldwide.

The Fallout Legacy Collection brings all of Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPGs into one massive box collection including:

• Fallout
• Fallout 2
• Fallout Tactics
• Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition
• Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition
• Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition

That’s hundreds upon hundreds of hours of fantastic Fallout content, and something that fans of the series won’t want to miss out on as we head into the winter months. While there are plenty of great games set to release throughout October, November, and December, sometimes there’s just nothing as good as sitting down and playing one of the classics, especially if you’ve never experienced the original Fallout titles.

For those across the pond looking to pick up the Fallout Legacy Collection in the states, we’ve got some bad news for you. Unfortunately, Bethesda has chosen to release the Fallout Legacy Collection in the United Kingdom and Germany only, which means it’s going to be tough to get your hands on it outside of those two countries. As it stands, too, there are no plans to release the Fallout Legacy Collection worldwide according to the official Bethesda UK Twitter account, but that may change somewhere down the line—at least we hope it does.

It’s kind of weird to choose to release something that so many Fallout fans are clearly looking to pick up in just two countries out of the 195 total countries in the world.
