But the World's Great Detective's milestone birthday celebration is impacting more than the comic book world. The video game world owes a lot to the Dark Knight, as well, and is also looking to pay tribute to one of the most recognizable superheroes in the world.

And so we turn to the Epic Games Store, which is offering up free copies of the Batman Arkham Collection and the LEGO Batman Trilogy, six full-blown Batman games filled with more bats than even the late Adam West could handle. If you're looking for something to put on your Steam launcher, Green Man Gaming is also diving into Gotham City, offering up the Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition and first LEGO Batman game for just 50 cents a piece. On top of that, if you pay that 50 cents, you'll get an extra 20 percent off of GMG's other already-discounted Batman games.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak.
