Night School Studio's Afterparty October release date revealed
Drink the devil under the table with this spooky little game that finally has a release date.
Night School Studio's hilarious trip to hell, Afterparty, has finally been blessed (cursed?) with a release date. Good thing – it'll be here just in time for Halloween.
Afterparty is about two best college friends (Milo and Lola) who have died recently. They wake up and find themselves in hell. Once there, they're sent to a processing center and assigned their physical and mental types of torture. They even get personal demons assigned to them who will be torturing them on a daily basis. But just as they're about to be tortured for the first time, it's time to clock out.
The demons start partying and drinking. As it turns out, at night, hell turns into a huge party that's been going for millions of years. It's probably not the best place to party or a place anyone should actually consider hanging out (since it's hell and all)l but at least no one appears to be dying...at a glance, anyway.
But what interests Milo and Lola is an interesting loophole, though, that involves them possibly being able to live their old lives again. If you can outdrink Satan himself in one night of hardcore drinking, you can go back to your life on Earth. So the plan is to basically outdrink Satan and then get their lives back so they can rejoin the world of the living. Sounds like a great plan. Hopefully it doesn't backfire on them.
From what we've seen (and what you can see in the gameplay clip above) it looks like players will be invited along a raucous ride through the most exclusive bar in hell. Are you up to the challenge? Check out the official Night School Studio page for additional details.
The game is set to debut on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on the Epic Games Store on October 29. Get ready to party down with the prince of darkness – and then hoodwink him!
