Sayonara Wild Hearts gets iam8bit limited run physical edition
Simogo's dreamy, playable pop album is getting a special physical edition that you can snag if you're fast enough.
Simogo's Sayonara Wild Hearts is a colorful odyssey through music, and it's finally out in the wild in terms of digital copies. Now, if you're interested in owning a physical version of the game, you can jump on a copy now.
Pre-orders are now live for a limited series of Sayonara Wild Hearts for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions. The run is limited to 5,000 prints and will begin shipping in Q1 2020. The PlayStation 4 and Switch edition both come in a typical physical edition that is $35 apiece. Each version is region-free, and comes with a special pack-in bonus: an embroidered logo patch.
If you're more interested in the game's music and don't need or want a physical version of it, you can also buy the Sayonara Wild Hearts Vinyl Soundtrack instead. It comes with the entire game trackless on 2 "Broken-Heart-Black" LP discs on 180-gram premium vinyl. The gatefold packaging they come in is holographic, with art by Asa Wallander and music by Daniel Olsen.
Previously, Ozzie Mejia went hands-on with Sayonara Wild Hearts. Here's what he had to say about it:
"It honestly felt refreshingly different to see that Sayonara Wild Hearts is basically exactly what it promises in its trailer. The music video motif is a creative one, with the game's narrative unfolding through its songs. It's a fun escape, just getting lost in each individual track. There look to be a handful of factions and plenty of replay value in place and it should be interesting to see how the game manages to maintain its charm over the course of each stage, particularly with Simogo promising new mechanics throughout the game."
Sayonara Wild Hearts is out now on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Apple Arcade.
