Monster Hunter World: Iceborne frequently sends its players scrambling to the far corners of the internet in search of guides on how to get the most obscure materials in gaming. Today, we’re going to talk about Purecrystal, giving players valuable information on how to get it so they are never without the resources they need when crafting that thing they must have.

How to get Purecrystal

Purecrystal is a rarity 10 Master Rank material in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. It is obtained through Mining Outcrops in Hoarfrost Reach, Elder’s Recess, and Wildspire Waste. While Purecrystal does sell for a good price, players will want to keep it. Many different weapons and armor pieces that players will craft on their journey require this rare resource.

Running around on a Master Rank expedition farming Purecrystal isn’t anyone’s idea of fun, so players should take a moment (time permitting) to collect any Mining Outcrops they find while on the hunt. When in Hoarfrost Reach, be on the lookout for any Mining Outcrops, but in regions such as Elder’s Recess and Wildspire Waste, trouble yourself only with the blue Mining Outcrops when on a Master Rank quest or expedition.

If players want to up their chances of finding Purecrystal, consider heading out on investigations that show an upsurge in Mining Outcrops, or an expedition with the same modifier. This means there will be more of these nodes around to mine, and thus players will give themselves more chances to get the rare goods they seek.
