Rajang is coming to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne in October

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne gets even more dangerous when Rajang arrives in hunts next months.

If you thought that you were getting close to finishing up everything that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne has to offer, then Capcom has some new goods for you. Revealed over the weekend, Rajang is a brand-new monster that will arrive in Iceborne early next month.

October brings more than just Halloween times as the Rajang, an “ultra-aggressive creature” will start making appearances throughout the regions in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. The Rajang is the first free title update for Monster Hunter World: Iceborn and will give players quite a formidable enemy to hunt down as they explore the new world in the game’s massive DLC.

If you haven’t dived into Iceborne yet, then you’re really missing out, as our own Bill Lavoy wrote, “Monster Hunter World: Iceborne does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It builds on everything that came before it without losing any of that Monster Hunter World charm. Players that love the base game will love this expansion, and if it wasn’t for you before, it’s not for you now. It’s got as many moving parts as it always has, but new locations, hubs, gadgets, weapons, armor, layered armor, monsters and monster variants all combine to enhance the experience. It’s like installing a new air conditioner in your house; it still feels like home, but it’s a hell of a lot colder now.” You can read his full impressions here for more info.

We’ve included the new trailer for Rajang above, which should give you your first good glimpse at the new monster that is set to join Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on October 10, 2019. We’re sure that this won’t be the last of the new monsters set to make appearances in the game world, and we’ll keep an eye out for any additional info about these new beasts as it becomes available.
