The Pokemon Sword and Shield website features a weird glitch monster
Who's that glitchy Pokémon? It's not Jigglypuff, that's for sure.
The official Pokemon Sword and Shield website is teasing a cryptic new Pokemon, but we have no idea what it is just yet.
After an official tweet via the Pokemon Twitter account, fans have been scrambling to figure out what the Pokémon could be. Going to the official Pokemon page reveals a strange glitch on the side of the screen. You can just make out the outline of the new monster, but barely.
All we know so far is the following: it's up to 257.9 pounds and it's a Fighting-type with the ability Steadfast.
"Only [redacted] that have survived many battles can attain this [redacted],” the listing reads. “When this Pokémon’s [redacted] [redacted]ers, it will retire from combat.”
Some fans have begun to surmise that it could potentially be an evolution for the Pokemon Farfetch'd, based on a 4chan post that went viral previously, and it would certainly be interesting if that were the case. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a bit to see if that ends up being the case. From here, it sure does look like our fine feathered friend could be getting a bit of an upgrade.
