Kojima confirms Death Stranding features a Very Easy Mode
You should still be able to enjoy the story, even if you don't think you'll be very good at the game.
Are you not so great at video games? Hideo Kojima has your back if you still want to try Death Stranding.
As it turns out, Death Stranding will have an Easy Mode, but there will also be a Very Easy Mode for anyone who wants to play through the story but is concerned with not being able to struggle through the game.
One of Kojima's employees and assistants Ayako took to Twitter, saying she had finished Death Stranding's test play after a month of playing.
"Finished DS test play. It took a month as I was playing while doing daily work since 8/6. As being a beginner I picked Very Easy Mode. According to my boss, this mode is for ppl who usually don’t play game, movie fans or RPG fans. Normal or Hard Mode is for action game fans," she shared. Kojima took to Twitter to clarify in response.
"Normally there’s only Easy Mode, but we added Very Easy Mode for movie fans since we have real actors like Norman, Mads, Lea starred in. Even Yano-san who never completed the 1st stage of PAC-MAN, was able to complete the game on Very Easy Mode 👍🌈🦀😅"
Thank you for being so benevolent to all the players out there who just want to enjoy the story, Kojima – I'm sure there are folks out there thanking their lucky stars right about now.
Normally there’s only Easy Mode, but we added Very Easy Mode for movie fans since we have real actors like Norman, Mads, Lea starred in. Even Yano-san who never completed the 1st stage of PAC-MAN, was able to complete the game on Very Easy Mode 👍🌈🦀😅 https://t.co/fMZmuZltZw

We don't have too much longer to wait until we can finally dig into the game ourselves and see if it necesstiates a Very Easy Mode. Death Stranding is poised to launch on November 8 on PlayStation 4, and we're counting down the days.
