Kerbal Space Program 2 announced at Gamescom 2019

Developer Stary Theory of publisher Private Division are preparing the sequel to one of the most popular space exploration games of all time.

All eyes in the video game world are currently focused on Cologne, Germany right now for Gamescom 2019. During the Opening Night Live ceremony, many new games have been announced. One of these titles is the sequel to one of the most popular space exploration games of all time. Publisher Private Division and developer Star Theory showed off Kerbal Space Program 2 to the world with a cinematic reveal trailer. The game is expected to leave the launching pad in 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

  I would straight-up watch that movie as long as they kept it hard-sci fi and focused on the process of learning from failures.

  KSP was a great, original concept well executed. They'd have to do something pretty dumb to not sell me the sequel day one.
