Hearthstone: Saviors of Uldum launches with free Legendary

Hearthstone's second expansion of 2019 has launched and if you jump into Saviors of Uldum right now, you'll get a Legendary quest card absolutely free.

Evil has consumed the Hearthstone world and that evil is now spreading into the desert. Hearthstone is continuing through the Year of the Dragon with 2019's seconnd expansion. Saviors of Uldum is now live, introducing 135 new cards to the Standard and Wild rotations. Players can not only jump in right now, but they can also pick up a brand new Legendary quest free of charge.

Hearthstone: Saviors of Uldum introduces a handful of all-new mechanics to Blizzard's long-running card game. Players will find the new Reborn keyword, which means that affected minions immediately come back to life after they're defeated with only one health. Players will also encounter new Plague spells that affect both sides of the board, as well as new quests, the first ones to hit Hearthstone since Journey to Un'Goro over two years ago.

And speaking of those quests, logging into Hearthstone within the next 90 days will earn you one of the nine new quests absolutely free. You might be curious as to what these are, so be sure to check out the Shacknews guide to Uldum quests. Players will also find special daily quests to go along with their normal daily quests, rewarding additional Saviors of Uldum card packs. Players can earn up to six Saviors of Uldum card packs for free by simply completing these daily quests.

This is not all that players have to look forward to from Hearthstone. Single-player content is still on the horizon, with a new solo adventure called Tombs of Terror set to release in the weeks ahead. There are no details on what this mode will entail, but Blizzard promises more information is coming soon.

Lastly, those attached to the Hearthstone Arena mode should be aware that Arena is rotating with today's expansion launch. Here are the expansions that will be featured in Arena for the next couple of months:

• Kobolds & Catacombs
• League of Explorers
• Saviors of Uldum
