New Blair Witch trailer shows off exploration, dog features
Bloober Team's latest looks appropriately creepy in our newest glance at Blair Witch.
Bloober Team has given us another official look at its upcoming horror adventure, Blair Witch, and it looks like a terrifying journey into psychological horror.
The new trailer, which shows off exploration elements, your cell phone, various commands that can be issued in battle, and your canine companion Bullet, certainly makes an intriguing first impression.
Bullet is seen digging around for the protagonist and there's a wheel of additional actions the pup can perform. There's also a lot of shaky-cam weirdness going on that gives us classic Blair Witch movie vibes. Oh, and what's all that going on in the background? Better call for help – but of course, the cell phone has no signal.
It appears that this version of Blair Witch has nothing to do with the previous entries in the Blair Witch game series, including the Rustin Parr, Legend of Coffin Rock, and Elly Kedward Tale adventures, but a new work entirely. Other than the brief clip shown off during Microsoft's E3 2019 presentation, we don't really know a whole lot about the game just yet, but we're hoping to see more of it as the year wears on.
You can expect to see Blair Witch hitting shelves on Xbox One and PC on August 30.
