QuakeCon 2019 kicked off this week from the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas and Shacknews is back for The Great Quakeholio Tournament 2. The electronic sports tournament features a $10,000 prize pool. Players will face a gauntlet of id Software games with Shacknews immortality awaiting one special contestant at the end.The first place winner can take home a grand prize of $6000. Our gauntlet-style tournament will feature id Software classics including Doom, Doom 2016, Quake, Quake Champions, Quake Live, and some other surprises. There are reports that last year's champion Lord Reven will return to defend his title. The festivities are sponsored by the great folks at Origin PC, HyperX, and BenQ.
