Weekend Console Download Deals for July 26: PS Summer Sale

PlayStation is kicking off its Summer Sale, while Xbox continues its Super Sale and also tosses in a few QuakeCon deals.

It's a hot one out there and that means it's time to either go out and soak up some sun or turn up the air conditioner and stay safely indoors. That decision gets a little easier, thanks to the slew of deals across all three console storefronts. PlayStation has kicked off its Summer Sale, offering great deals on the latest games, as well as some first-party classics. That includes Tetris Effect, which is getting a nice discount to coincide with its PC counterpart's release.

Xbox is continuing its Super Sale, but is also adding on some special deals just for QuakeCon. And Nintendo is preparing for the new Kombat Pack fighters by discounting Mortal Kombat 11 by 25 percent. If Kombat isn't your thing, the Resident Evil franchise is getting a nice discount across all Nintendo platforms.
