Just Cause 4 development roadmap details August update
The August update is soon to arrive, and the crew at Avalanche Studios have a new development roadmap detailing all the upcoming changes.
Avalanche Studios is keen to make sure Just Cause 4 is the best game it can be. Part of that strategy involves listening to fan feedback and making proper adjustments, and the upcoming August update is set to do just that.
Speaking over in a blog post featured on the Square Enix website, the crew at Avalanche spelled out some of the changes players can expect to see land in Just Cause 4 next month. In fact, the team has spelled out numerous tweaks and changes, providing a development roadmap calendar that highlights the biggest updates being introduced through this coming September.
One of the main topics addressed by fans was the desire to adjust the game's day and night cycle. Toward that front, Avalanche is placing deck chairs into the game that players can sit in to pass the time. According to the announcement post, "Rico will be joined by wild animals when watching the world go by, so get ready to enjoy the sunset with your new goat pals.
Looking toward the future, new challenges will be introduced into the game, including exclusive prizes offered as a reward for completing them. The next challenge is titled Chaos Chase, and the devs indicate that it is "coming soon," though no more specific release window was offered.
Beyond that, the team introduced the new Soaring Speed Vehicle pack, which includes the Flying Car as well as the flame-spitting Hot Rod. Being added to the Black Market, the Soaring Speed Vehicle Pack will be available to purchase starting August 25.
Avalanche Studios promises that more details concerning the upcoming August update to Just Cause 4 are incoming. Specifically, additional information about the latest installment of the Expansion Pass, titled Danger, will arrive "soon." Until then, players can catch up on news and helpful guides for the latest release by heading over to Shacknews' Just Cause 4 home page.
