Moments of Triumph and Solstice of Heroes 2019 - Destiny 2

Moments of Triumph 2019 will kick off in Destiny 2 on July 9, 2019. This event will run all the way through to August 27, 2019 and will include this year’s Solstice of Heroes event. Guardians that can take on and complete all the requirements will unlock several rewards, including an in-game emblem, sparrow, ship, and a Moments of Triumph 2019 seal and title. There’s also Moments of Triumph t-shirt offer that can be earned, but it must be purchased separately.

• Complete 5 Moments of Triumph, earn the Moments of Triumph 2019 Sparrow
• Complete 10 Moments of Triumph, earn the Moments of Triumph 2019 Ship
• Complete 15 Moments of Triumph, the Moments of Triumph T-Shirt offer becomes available
• Complete all Moments of Triumph, unlock the Moments of Triumph 2019 Seal and Title

Moments of Triumph 2019

Using the power of elite Guardians on Reddit combined with official information from Bungie, we have a solid idea of what triumphs will be a part of these events, and what Guardians will need to complete to get all the available rewards.

• Mission: Nothing Left to Say - Complete the Forsaken mission Nothing Left to Say
• Forges Afield: Forge 10 weapons in forges across the system
• Prime Fashion - Win a match of Gambit Prime wearing a complete set of Notorious armor
• Bedazzled - Fully upgrade the Chalice of Opulence from the Season of Opulence DLC
• Exotic Arsenal: Unlock Whisper of the Worm, Outbreak Perfected, Bad Juju
• The Vault - Amass gear in your Collections
• Gun for Hire - Complete 50 bounties throughout the system
• Challenger - Complete 10 challenges throughout the system
• For the Vanguard - Complete 25 strikes in any strike playlist
• Vanguard Pinnacle Weapons - Earn a Vanguard pinnacle weapon in any season (Oxygen SR3, Loaded Question, Wendigo GL3)
• Legendary Valor - Reach Valor rank Legend in any season by playing Crucible
• Crucible Pinnacle Arsenal - Earn a Crucible pinnacle weapon (Luna's Howl, Not Forgotten, Redrix’s Broadsword, Revoker, The Recluse)
• Mythic - Reach Infamy rank Mythic in any season by playing Gambit
• Gambit Pinnacle Arsenal - Earn a Gambit pinnacle weapon in any season (Breakneck, 21% Delirium, Hush)
• Never Again - Complete a run of The Shattered Throne in the Dreaming City
• O Murderer Mine - Complete the Last Wish raid as part of the Forsaken DLC
• Valiant Savior - Complete the Scourge of the Past raid as part of the Black Armory DLC
• In the Shadow of the Kingdom of Sorrow - Crown of Sorrow raid completed

It seems that several of these Triumphs will be retroactive. Among the most difficult to earn will be the Crucible pinnacle weapon, and I’m not looking forward to dealing with the mess that is Gambit Prime and The Reckoning to get a full set of Notorious armor.

Solstice of Heroes 2019 Triumphs

Solstice of Heroes will begin on July 24, 2019, and run through to August 27, 2019, giving Guardians over a month to complete the associated triumphs included with the event. Note that in order to get t-shirt offer, Guardians must complete 15 triumphs across the Moments of Triumph 2019 and the Solstice of Heroes 2019 events.

• Strike Spelunker - Complete 100 strikes
• Gun for Hire - Complete bounties throughout Destiny 2
• Challenger - Complete weekly challenges throughout Destiny 2
• Fashion Hero - Upgrade the Solstice of Heroes armor set to Legendary
• Above and Beyond - Masterwork any Solstice of Heroes armor piece
• Master Smith - Forge 100 weapons in the Black Armory DLC

If you combine the Moments of Triumph 2019 and the Solstice of Heroes 2019, you have a total of 20 triumphs to complete. Guardians will need 15 for the t-shirt, which technically allows you to skip five that you don’t like. However, in order to unlock the title and seal for the Moments of Triumph 2019, all 20 of the listed triumphs must be completed. Thankfully, there is about six weeks to pull this off, so anyone who must have it should be fine.

It’s also worth noting that you can get started right now. If you’re lagging on forged weapons for Ada-1, get going today. If you are dreading getting a pinnacle weapon in Crucible, might I suggest The Revoker as a solid option.
