Uncharted's Dan Trachtenberg directs New Warframe CGI intro

Warframe super-fan Dan Trachtenberg reached out to Digital Extremes about directing a new CGI intoduction. Check out the trailer from TennoCon 2019.

The TENNOLIVE keynote is going right now at TennoCon 2019, and fans were treated to a very special surprise. A brand spanking new Warframe CGI introduction directed by Dan Trachtenberg was unveiled during the live stream. Please take a look at the trailer.

Trachtenberg is known for his work on Netflix's Black Mirror, 10 Cloverfield Lane, and the upcoming Uncharted motion picture. He's also a huge Warframe fan and reached out to the team at Digital Extremes about doing something new and fun for players. The trailer does show some things that could be spoiler territory, but this is clearly for Tenno who are new to the fray.

      While most CGI trailers like this are definitely in "not actual gameplay", this is at least not so far off what can be done with the various 'Frames in the game. DE has done so well with expanding and improving Warframe from its early days, and Dan T's work here nicely shows that off.
