Scavengers blends competitive & cooperative survival gameplay
Scavengers will not only be free to play, but those interested in trying it early can sign up for the play tests.
I’m always looking for the next co-op game my friends and I can play, and bonus points to any title that provides us with a survival experience. Enter Scavengers, a co-op survival game with a competitive edge as each gameplay session moves on.
While Scavengers won’t release until sometime in 2020 Josh Holmes, CEO and Co-Founder of Midwinter Entertainment, talked to Shacknews’ own Greg Burke at E3 2019, talking at length about the gameplay in Scavenger, which sounds like a unique experience that will be worth checking out.
For those on the fence about Scavengers, there’s reason to dig further into. Not only will the game be free to play, it’s also going to run through several play tests throughout 2019. Anyone who wants to get a taste for what it might be like can sign up by visiting the Scavengers website. For now, though, the play test will only be on PC, as will the final version of the game.
While Scavengers’ official release is a way off, lots of other games are heading our way this year. Visit the Shacknews video game release dates 2019 calendar to figure out what you’ll need to play and when. It’s updated frequently to make sure you’re not missing out on anything you might want to play.
For more video content from E3 2019 and other big gaming events around the globe, visit the Shacknews YouTube channel, and the GamerHubTV YouTube channel and get your fill. You’ll find interviews and even gameplay of your favorite titles currently out and coming out in the future.
