E3 2019 came and went without much love shown for Rare's hot nautical adventure Sea of Thieves, but that's not to say there was no news whatsoever. Instead, Sea of Thieves appeared as part of Microsoft's E3 presentation, showcasing a ship with a new Halo-inspired figurehead. This is offered as part of the Halo Spartan Ship set, an entirely free bit of content for dedicated Sea of Thieves players, and we know just how to get it.

Sea of Thieves | How to unlock Halo Spartan Ship Set

To unlock the Halo Spartan Ship set in Sea of Thieves, players need to log into the game before Saturday. That's it. Simply launch Sea of Thieves, dive into Adventure or Arena modes before 23:59 BST on Saturday, and the Master Chief figurehead and Halo-inspired sails, flags, and livery will be credited to your account automatically.

The only catch here, and it's not really a catch at all, is that the Spartan Ship Set may take up to 72 hours to appear in players' game accounts. So long as they play the game before the end of day Saturday, however, players should see the new Halo-inspired goodies landing in their game shortly. If not, send a line over to the Sea of Thieves Twitter account, and we're sure the team will help get things sorted.

If you want to claim the Spartan Ship Set for yourself, simply play Sea of Thieves before the end of day Saturday. There's nothing else to it — play the game, get free swag. Be sure to keep it locked right here at Shacknews for the latest coverage of this year's E3 presentation.
