CDPR confirms Keanu Reeves plays a major part in Cyberpunk 2077

During an interview with Marcin Iwinski, co-founder of CD Projekt Red, Geoff Keighley was told that Keanu Reeves holds the second highest amount of voiced lines in Cyberpunk 2077.

Fans went nuts during Microsoft’s Xbox E3 2019 conference when CD Projekt Red revealed that Keanue Reeves, known for his many Hollywood roles throughout the years, would play a character in the upcoming sci-fi action game. Today, Marcin Iwinski, the co-founder of CDPR revealed that Keanu isn’t just a side character that players will encounter once or twice.

Instead of acting as a side character, Reeves' character is actually the character with the second highest amount of voice lines throughout the entire game. This means that he’s going to play a pretty important role in the game’s main story, which in turn means that players can expect quite a bit of screen time out of the John Wick actor. It's really good to see CD Projekt Red embracing the actor fully and really giving him a solid part to play instead of just shoehorning him into the story. The rest of the interview between Iwinski and Keighley went about as expected, with the CDPR co-founded refusing to divulge any real new information about the game. Still, though, it’s really good to see that Keanu Reeves is someone that players can expect to interact with a lot throughout their time in Cyberpunk 2077.
