How to get Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on PC

The video game industry is quickly moving away from a single-purchase model to one of monthly and yearly subscriptions. Pay a monthly or yearly fee and get access to more games than you could imagine, and even score free games on their release date. Microsoft jumped into this pool with their Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. For those interested, here’s how to get Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on PC.

In order to get all the benefits of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on PC, players will want head to the Xbox website. You should be re-directed to the specific portal for your country, and then you’ll need to log in. If you have an Xbox you probably have an account, and that’s what you’d sign in with here, or if you don’t you could use any Microsoft account, such as an Outlook address as an example. If you don’t have an account (which would be odd if you’re using Windows) you can create one.
However you accomplish it, once you’re logged in there will be a menu along the top of the site with a few handy links. One of those links will be Game Pass and clicking that dropdown will present the option to click Overview. This will be where you can learn more about Game Pass Ultimate. Choose Join Now to see three options, but the one you’re probably gunning for is Ultimate. Browse through the various bits of info and benefits and, if you’re ready to pull the trigger, choose the option to join.
Signing up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is not only for Xbox players, but also those on PC. There are over 100 games spread across Xbox and PC that this gives players access to, and the subscription includes a membership to Xbox Live Gold. Since the announcement of Gears 5, it also includes the Gears 5 Ultimate Edition, allowing players four days early access on both console on PC.
While I’m certainly not here to sell you on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, it’s probably something players who enjoy a lot of Xbox games would consider. Weigh the pros and cons, such as how many games you buy a year and if the cost of this subscription will eliminate those single purchases.
