Final Fantasy 7 Remake preorder - 1st Class and Deluxe Edition
The release date for Final Fantasy 7 Remake has been revealed, and fans can preorder the game in the 1st Class or Deluxe Editions to score extra bonuses.
E3 2019 revealed when fans can get a hold of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and preorders have since gone live. Square Enix's latest RPG reimagining is coming to PlayStation 4 in March of 2020, but fans can secure their copy now by preordering the Final Fantasy 7 Remake standard, Deluxe, or 1st Class Edition. What do these Final Fantasy 7 Remake special editions include, and are there any preorder bonuses? Read on to find out.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake preorder | Deluxe and 1st Class Edition bonuses
With a new release as big as Final Fantasy 7 Remake, of course Square Enix is going to offer a few special editions. When it releases on March 3, 2020, Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be available in standard, digital, Deluxe, and special 1st Class Edition packages. Players won't have to wait that long to make a purchase, however, as the game is currently available to preorder now.
Here's a breakdown of the differences between and bonuses included in each version of the game.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Standard and Deluxe Edition
The standard and digital editions of Final Fantasy 7 cost $60 and will only include the base version of the game, which is reportedly two Blu-ray discs worth of content. As things stand right now, no preorder bonuses are offered with either base version of the game.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Deluxe Edition
For $80, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Deluxe Edition includes a surprising amount of physical bonuses. The Deluxe Edition includes:
- Physical version of game on two discs
- Sephiroth steelbook case
- Hardback artbook
- Mini-soundtrack CD
- Cactuar summon materia DLC
- Preorder bonus: Chocobo Chick summon materia DLC
Final Fantasy 7 Remake 1st Class Edition
Beyond the Deluxe Edition, the big special collector's edition of Final Fantasy 7 Remake is the 1st Class Edition. Priced at $330, this bundle notably includes a detailed figure of Cloud sitting on his Daytona motorcycle, the likes of which sits about 16 inches long and about 10 inches high. It also includes all of the Deluxe Edition bonuses plus an additional Carbuncle DLC:
- Physical version of game on two discs
- Sephiroth steelbook case
- Play Arts Kai Cloud Strife and Hardy Daytona figure
- Hardback artbook
- Mini-soundtrack CD
- Cactuar summon materia DLC

Final Fantasy 7 Remake | Where to preorder
All versions of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake can be preordered at the most common North American retailers: Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and GameStop, as well as through Square Enix's own storefront. In addition, the game will be offered as a digital download through the PlayStation Store.
As for the 1st Class Edition, that appears to be available exclusively through the Square Enix Store. The company does not state that supplies are limited, but there is a limit of one 1st Class Edition bundle per customer.
