AMD announce the Ryzen 9 3950X 16-core CPU at E3 2019

AMD unveiled what it describes at the "world's fastest gaming CPU" during E3 2019.

After showing off its new line of Ryzen CPUs and Radeon RX GPUs, AMD took the opportunity during its E3 2019 presentation to announce the world’s first 16-core gaming processor, the AMD Ryzen 3950X. With a boost clock of up to 4.7 GHz, it is the fastest CPU the company has ever made. It features 72MB of total cache. It will be available this September for $749.
