New Ghost Recon: Breakpoint details revealed at Ubisoft E3
Ubisoft's E3 2019 conference was home to a plethora of new information on Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.
Ubisoft recently announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon franchise would be receiving a new installment in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The cinematic trailers revealed actor John Bernthal will be playing a central character in the tactical shooter. During their Keynote, John Bernthal himself took the stage to reveal new information about the game.
The co-operative aspect on Ghost Recon: Breakpoint was a key focus when designing the game. Friends will be able to seamlessly jump in and out of your game, and vice versa. You can work together to progress through the campaign and complete missions. If you prefer to go through the game solo, a team of AI characters will aid you in your journey. The main antagonist comes in the form of Cole D. Walker. He and his team have access to the top drone technology, and you’re squad is at the top of their hit list.
Going ghost
Some of the biggest news was official confirmation on a beta for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The beta will begin on September 5, with registration available now. The conference also showcased a couple of brand new extended trailers that set the tone for Breakpoints atmosphere and tone. Like with Wildlands, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will have a strong emphasis on the team dynamic, whether you’re playing with friends or NPC’s.
