Zombie Army 4: Dead War has been officially announced with a trailer at the PC Gaming Show at E3 2019. This is the fourth entry in the series and is currently in development by Rebellion. Please check out the reveal trailer below!

The Zombie Army series has been a spin-off of Rebellion’s ultra-violent sniping title, Sniper Elite. The last in the franchise, Zombie Army Trilogy, released some four years ago to a dedicated playerbase. Now, Zombie Army 4: Dead War, looks to recapture the intensity of the 4-player zombie survival experience.

For those who are unfamiliar with the series, Zombie Army takes place in an alt-history version of World War 2. Nearing the defeat of the Nazi army, Adolf Hitler enacts a last-minute plan to win the war, which results in him raising up his defeated soldiers as zombies.

Zombie Army 4 looks to continue this story. Here’s what the YouTube description has to say about Rebellion’s Nazi zombie-slaying title:

The year is 1946. Europe lies in ruins, torn apart by the nefarious “Plan Z.” A brave band of heroes cast the Führer into hell but little do they know … Hitler’s Hordes are back for more!

Face the darkness in single player or team up with friends as you blast your way through Nazi undead in this spine-chilling shooter from the makers of Sniper Elite 4.

Players will be pleased to hear that the series' iconic X-ray kill-cam is making a return in Zombie Army 4: Dead War. You will be able to watch, in graphic detail, as the brains and balls of those undead Nazis are obliterated by your bullets.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War is schedule to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and through the Epic Game Store sometime in 2020.
