Destiny 2: Shadowkeep revealed, coming to Google Stadia this fall
Shadowkeep, the next big expansion for Destiny 2, was confirmed for release on Google Stadia and is coming this fall.
Gamers were given more details about Google Stadia through a live stream event today, and fans were given an official reveal for Shadowkeep, the next major expansion coming Destiny 2 this fall.
The worst kept secret in the Destiny 2 universe was that Shadowkeep was the next expansion thanks to a data miner’s leak. Bungie typically releases a big expansion each September, and thus far there had been no announcements of what that would be. We now know that it will be Shadowkeep, a DLC that looks to take Guardians back to the Moon and reintroduces and old friend of Cayde-6’s, Eris Morn.
It was also announced that Destiny 2 would be available for anyone who purchases the Google Stadia Founder’s Pack, a pre-order package for those that are convinced to get in on the Google Stadia business right from the hop. Players who are currently tied to PS4, Xbox One, or PC should also know that they can transfer their characters over to Google Stadia, although details were few and it’s not clear if that cross save is going to allow players to maintain a single profile across multiple platforms at the same time.

Also note that Bungie will be going live with a stream reveal of their own at 1 p.m. EDT, which is minutes away if you’re reading this at the time of posting.
