Disney's Hollywood Studio's 30 year anniversary is here which means Toy Story Land is about to go to infinity and beyond as new rides and shows are added to celebrate.

GamerHub TV recently had the pleasure of speaking with Stephen Lim, one of the Walt Disney World Ambassadors, about the latest attractions and events coming to Disney’s Toy Story Land in 2019 and beyond.

There are a few family-friendly attractions for visitors to take advantage of:

  • Slinky Dog Dash
  • Alien Swirling Sauces
  • Toy Story Mania

Slinky Dog Dash is a family-friendly rollercoaster that Stephen claims is rather zippy. This should provide some great excitement for kids and adults alike. The Alien Swirling Saucer is a special little green man take on the iconic cup and saucer ride. Finally, the  Toy Story Mania ride is a competitive experience where patrons can shoot at targets to compete with other passengers on the ride.

A new pop-up merchandise store will also be featured at the end of Disney’s Toy Story Land. As patrons exit the area, they will be guided through this new store where they can purchase brand new merchandise.

Stephen also goes into some details about various foodstuffs on offer at restaurants in the park. A surprising new addition is the Roundup Rodeo Barbeque restaurant. This is a table-service eatery right in the heart of Toy Story Land. This is rather ground-breaking, as Toy Story Land hasn’t been open a year and it’s already receiving some impressive upgrades.

To celebrate the 30 year anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studio, a new show called the Wonderful World of Animation is being shown. This is a projection show that is displayed right on the Chinese Theatre. This feature highlights the classic Disney films as well as some of the more recent additions to the company’s titanic line-up.

All these new additions to the Toy Story Land should make Disney’s Hollywood Studio even more appealing to young families. For the latest gaming news and highlights from other areas of entertainment, but sure to check out the GamerHubTV YouTube channel.

Hollywood Studios used to be my favorite park.

      The Great Hollywood Movie Ride*
      Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular
      Muppet Vision 3D
      Backlot Tour (featuring Disaster Canyon)*
The Magic of Disney Animation Tour*
      Star Tours

Half that stuff (the stuff marked with asterisks) isn't there anymore. I'm glad they're doing a proper Star Wars land, but ... I really miss the "Hollywood" aspects of the park. It's all basically gone. :/
